ABOUT CAROL COLEÂ
Some of my earliest memories are of quietly sneaking into my mother's bedroom, opening her jewellery box, and running my little fingers over each treasured piece. The textures, the details, even the soft sounds they made, it all felt magical. Like stepping into a world of elegance and wonder. Jewellery made me feel special. That feeling has never faded.
For Carol Cole, jewellery is more than adornment. It is a language. A personal expression of beauty, meaning, and memory worn on the body and carried through the world.
Carol is a south London-based fine jewellery designer of Jamaican heritage. Her work draws on a rich confluence of influences - surrealism, Afro-diasporic cultural symbolism, and the powerful women who have shaped her life and her generation. Each piece is conceived with intention and made to last. Not for a season. For a lifetime. For the next generation after that.
THE COLLECTIONS
The Seven Aunties Collection is Carol's tribute to remarkable women, family members, cultural icons, artists, and beloved friends whose presence has left a permanent mark. Erykah Badu, Nina Simone, Grace Jones, Serena Williams, Lalah Hathaway and Carol's own mother, and extended family, and closest friends. Each piece carries a name and a story. Each one is an act of remembrance.
The Adinkra Collection draws on the visual language of the Akan people of Ghana, ancient symbols that have carried meaning across centuries. Sankofa, Dwennimmen, Akoma, Duafe, translated into polished gold and worn as quiet declarations of identity, faith, and cultural connection.
Both collections are made to order, handcrafted in 14ct and 18ct gold, with diamonds and gemstones sourced through the established dealers of London's Hatton Garden the heart of the UK's fine jewellery trade for over a century.
MADE TO ORDER
Every Carol Cole piece is made to order in South London. This is a deliberate choice. It means each piece is made for someone, not for a shelf. It means the craft is never rushed, and the quality is never compromised. It means your jewellery arrives having been made with your name, in some sense, already attached to it.

Carol works with clients on bespoke commissions - pieces conceived together from the beginning. A stone of personal significance. A design that holds a specific memory. A piece made for someone who cannot find what they are looking for anywhere else, because what they are looking for has never existed before.
